✅The Role
The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for the process of generating, maintaining and continuously improving of all the master data elements used.
This colleague will interface with functions across the organization and will be working primarily in SalesForce and NetSuite to setup, clean and guard master data around the customer records. Responsible to ensure that accurate master data is being generated, entered the system, and maintained.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting-up, maintaining and optimizing all master data around the customer records across the entire Corsearch organization.
✅Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain and verify all data related for customers according to the defined master data rules
• Help to establish underlying data and structure for company wide use
• Maintain all fields and develop and champion the consistency and accuracy of all data in the system
• Perform mass updates in Salesforce as required
• Ability to merge Accounts and Contacts in Salesforce.
• Test, correct and track errors within the Master Data Management and source/destination transactional systems
• Ability to provide high levels of service to functions with adherence to request turn around target timelines and feedback to users
• Ensure data integrity and compliance
• Clean and/or improve master data attributes, when directed, by updating out-of-date and managing redundant data
• Provide input and guidance regarding master data and data quality standards and processes
• Publish metrics every month on master data cleanliness, update/change/archive requests and compliance metrics identifying concerns and resolution of issues
• Proactively escalate issues and risks through appropriate channels
• Active participant on the Master Data Management Team in finding resolutions
• Work daily with team members to transact and update Master Data in MDM and prioritize requests for data entry/ data maintenance
• Identify, analyze and report/resolve data issues, related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Continuously improve processes and help achieve sustained higher levels of accuracy and cleanliness

- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management best practices and functionality
- Strong data management abilities
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
✅ Desirable Experience:
• Minimum three years of experience as a Master Data Specialist
• Experience with Salesforce.com platform required
• Experience with NetSuite required
• Experience with data loader tools (configuring and utilizing) preferred
