✅The Role

This is a hands-on role, where you will need to have solid experience across all accounting and control functions such as Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month-End Close Process, Year-End, Group and Local Audit and Operational Accounting. We are looking for a highly experienced, proactive and technical leader to join our growing team.

There will also be a range of key projects for you to get involved in such as acquisition accounting, process design and continuous improvement programs etc.

✅Responsibilities and Duties

• Support statutory and corporate reporting (audited financial statements, tax returns, monthly reporting packages)
• Ownership of certain weekly and monthly reporting requirements
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of month-end close
• Technical accounting experience under any set of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS etc). This includes the ability to read, interpreting and implement guidance.
• Ownership of the balance sheet and associated reconciliations
• Produce accurate and timely income statement accounts and corresponding monthly analysis
• Lead the year-end Group audit
• Liase with external tax accountants, investors and other partners
• Drive improvements in data quality, reporting, and general service provisions to the whole business.
• Manage assigned areas of the finance function
• Other projects as assigned from time to time

✅Essential

• 5+ years of related accounting experience
• Public accounting experience in a top 10 accounting firm preferred
• ACA or CPA preferred
• Must be technology savvy and enjoy learning / troubleshooting financial systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred
