✅The Role

We are looking for a new team member to be part of our journey to build out a Tax and Compliance team within the Finance function.

You will be involved in building out new processes across the compliance function, ensuring timely and correct reporting across our various jurisdictions, with the main focus in Europe.

✅Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage VAT reporting in Europe
  Lead the project in bringing the VAT and EU reporting inhouse for various EU jurisdictions such as France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

• Coordinate with third party vendors
  Maintain and coordinate relationship with the third party vendors in regions where we do not manage the reporting inhouse. Ensure timely and correct reporting across various jurisdictions.

• Support the Tax and Compliance function
  Assist with various tasks within the tax and compliance function, working closely with the Director of Tax and Compliance.

• Support the wider Finance team
  Assist with various task in the wider finance team. Examples such as balance reconciliations, audit requests and take the lead on other smaller projects.

✅Essential

• You have a background within finance and have experience from various local filings such as VAT, Intra community sales reporting etc.
• You speak French fluently; additional languages are a plus. You also have good written and verbal English skills.
• You have an independent and efficient way of working
• You pay attention to details and value accuracy
• You have good knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Teams / Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle large volumes of data
