✅The Role

We're looking for an Information Security Intern to join our team for 6 months in our Amsterdam office. This role requires you to be in the office twice a week.

✅Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate with the Information Security Team to assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Cyber Program.

Support the review and update of documentation such as policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

Contribute to security risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.

Support the team in monitoring and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.

Participate in security awareness initiatives and training programs for employees.

Assist in the identification and resolution of security-related issues.

Support the vulnerability management activities.

Support compliance audits against institutionally accepted security controls.

Record and track IT security incidents, including but not limited to e-mail threats, and abuse reports from various sources.

✅Essential

Must hold a diploma of bachelor’s degree within a relevant field of study

Strong interest in security and cybersecurity

Good understanding of security principles and practices is a plus

Knowledge of ISO standards like ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO27701, is a plus

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Excellent English speaking and writing skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Ability to work in dynamic and fast pace environment with flexibility to adapt to changes in priority
